Week 3 is in the books and there was some nail baiters this week. Some managers watching the games end like Ken Doresy aka Doug when the Broncos ran the ball in to win the game.
Well two teams remain undefeated, Eagles and Dolphins who saw that coming and Doresy isn't happy about it.
Speaking of Doug freaking out, he took the L falling to 2-1 and a tie for 1st in his division with the L to Connor. A few things went wrong for his team this week. First Russel Wilson looked washed for 3.5 quarters. That game was so bad to watch, I am not sure if it was good defense or the horrendous offenses but i am leaning the QBs not playing with the teams in pre-season. Hill had only 3 points but that is part of his game. 5 great games, 10 good games, 1 okay and a stinker has been his MO so if he sticks to the script he should be solid for the rest of the year. Connor also has some questions mainly when did Alvin Kamara forget how to score fantasy points. 2 years after winning Alex the championship single handily it appears he might be outside the top 30 in rbs scoring. Maybe this win will give Connor some momentum.
Well The third team in the North, Alex is struggling this year. Los Magerios rebounded from their terrible week 2 performance to an average week 3 performance. Unfortunately, average does not get you any reviews in the local foodie magazine. Losing to Matt this week who took over 1st place in the league with another dominate performance. Riding the Lamar, Eagles D combo to another week over 130 points, Matt is off to a blistering start.
Ryan fell to Steve this week. Ryan scored 47 points which might be one of the worst non-bye week scores in league history. 47 points not good. Apparently Deandre Swift has a shoulder injury, well guess what he should just sit out instead of wasting a spot in the line-up. On Steve side of things Henry finally had a good week scoring almost half the points Ryan did. With the win Steve returns to his normal first place spot in the division.
Spoiler from the last Dan went down this week. Losing by 5 points to Frank who managed to stay undefeated but falls to second place as he was not able to keep pace scoring over 130 points this week. In a match up where both teams left high scorers were left on the bench this week seemed like a major missed opportunity for Dan who falls to 2nd in his division, but there is plenty of the season to go and Josh Allen is still humming along and can carry his team to a few more wins.
I don’t know who Brady and Rodgers combined to score 30 points when it seemed like it was the 3 and 4th worst offenses playing. (49ers and Broncos hold the top two spots for the time being) Rodgers was able to do just enough to beat the bucs just like Brendan was able to do just enough to hold off Rich for his first win.
Keeping Alex company in the land of the winless is Chris. Falling to Roger who has now surpassed his win total from last year. This is the 2nd time ever Roger has beat Chris. Yikes, Chris had totally dominated this matchup over the past 6 years but Roger means business this year and is prepared to show it.
